Jamming
Tired and jaded I am. But I had fun on Saturday. Went jamming with my NYP friends. Me, JP, Saiful, Vanessa and Tze Wei. Well I considered them my "friends" coz we have'nt confirm our band name just yet. So we don't really have a name for ourselves. Sheesh. Anyway, we booked a three hour session in the BIG room. The usual place where me and my band occasionally jam. So it was worth the time. Considering we made full use of the time. Not becoz we jam for the entire hour, but rather practising ourselves. And since most of us are doing it for the first time, so we kind a screw up in coordination. Big time. But in the end, we manage to play a song. That was like a big accomplishment for us. And Vanessa sure got talent, especially with her drumming. JP and his all almost-expensive-ibanez-plus-his-multi-effect-pedal-super combo made my bro in a fit of jealous.Wicked. And Saiful's hidden talent.In bass that is. Really nice to see everyone shining.
I hope we can do better for our following sessions. For now. We have to think of an appropriate song for our competition, the upcoming bandzout. Our band name. And of coz, our bandmates. Apparently, one of our mates are already calling it quits. Haiz, I can't force him either becoz he made the decision in his own free will...
And yes, I noe I've been a bad blogger. Sorry my friends for not doing so. This few weeks been busy like hell. I'm finally done with my XV2 event. I think it was a great experience. Of coz, it started early and ended in a quick pace. But the work we had was tremendous, and the scoldings and all that was something we would never ever forget. I would like to thank the committee for doing their part, hopefully even though the event has ended I hope we won't go MIA all of a sudden and become total strangers. Haha. For now, I can relax and help out with the remaining events. And since I'm no longer a committee for either one, the MIT event is still a consideration. That one really need to help. Haha.
