Thursdays. They're always the same. I'm always late for database lectures due to unreasonable conditions. E-learning database class next where there's always the need to copy an answer due to laziness. After which, I'll always see four group of guys playing Nintendo DS's right at the stairway at level 5...
BUT,
no network technology project today becoz the lab teacher was on MC. That doesn't happen all the time. Its NOT always that you have free hours in school...
And I just had a hat-trick of KFC dinners for three consecutive days. Wicked.

Sunday had jamming session at Fourtones, Darren was playing slash and I'm Izzy, and we just fucking rock on the nightrain. Rachel was on drums and hell yeah, she's definitely improving and JP was on bass for the first hour, where Saiful came on later after his training. After session had dinner at Long Johns and I stayed over at my cousin's to catch Man U vs Chelsea. It was a spectacular match, even though I must say Chelsea where god-damn lucky to get away with a point.
Though, Monday I had a hectic time playing Amazing race whereby I had to head back home from Kallang to Jurong coz I can't afford to stay in school without allowances and lugged my guitar to school .Had a haircut, and head to school. Couldn't stayed on for night class though coz my head got all dizzy and had dinner with my JW buddies at KFC instead. Hell yeah, I'm missing these people so badly and we merely crapped our way and talked about a hell lotsa stuff.
Ok ok, for now I'm in need of a new guitar, new effects pedals(a clean, delay and metal zone) and a new amp. Too bad I gotta wait for it till the next holidays to get a job, earn some cash and maybe get all of em. Badly.

Yesterday was supposedly one of my most tiring days of my life. Had school in the morning and ended around 5. At the end of the day, I merely slept till the next morning. Had a few calls, one of which I really couldn't remember what was the conversation about but what I do know is the recipient's Rachel. OMG. =S
I can't wait for this coming Sunday's session. Though Saiful couldn't be there for the first hour, JP's gonna be our bassist. Darren aka Slash as usual with his wicked licks and Rachel's gonna be our Joey Jordison for tmr. Awesome-OOoooo. So now, I've to start practising both my guitars and vocals coz I haven't been doing so lately due to the fact that I've been schooling for the entire weekdays(except wednesday coz I was too tired to wake up =S).

So I had a few warnings from a few of the module coordinators becoz of my failure of attending particular lessons for almost half of the semester. I told them I've been busy with outside commitments and I must say how deeply regretful I am. Though I appreciate their concern towards my desire to continue my modules, I've pledged to all of em that I'll be extremely serious for the following weeks and possibly catch up with the rest. Well, serves me right for every petty excuses I made to not attend school, due to my laziness. I guess interest has definitely faded and I no longer feel like the mood is there to pursue my diploma further. Though, it'll be a wicked end considering I've gone through 2 years of hell (almost) and just give up on what people might say, "an easy course" to begin with.
Maybe I should see it as an alternative to job opportunities once I've gain diploma-ship and certified as a graduate. That could be a morale booster. If not, then I suppose friends are a source of motivation of why I'm still pursueing or other motives to come to school like eye candy etc. For now, I'll just pick up every small pieces that I've failed to do so before and hopefully get the rest of em, like all of my fellow friends already did. And I'm implying to all those knowledge that I've failed to learn due to my absenteeism.
So today I made a decision to start being serious bout school and sacrifice all other commitments I did before. Its a bold statement to say that its never too late, but I better hope I won't be chasing cars for the rest of my life. Alright people, if in any circumstances, should I fail to oblige to the following( by not skipping school anymore), please feel free to give me your harshest scolding ever. I definitely need one, seriously. I'm gonna appreciate you for the rest of my life, I can promise you that. =D
Other than that, I'm having plans to have my blogskin template refurbished again due to unconditional reasons. =S

I must say I've been impressed by the newest addition of MCR: The Black Parade. They're a far cry from their previous Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge's episode and they definitely blossomed and became a totally new band with a whole new concept to begin with. Ok, so in the first place how do I begin with? This album kicks ass, its totally amazing and I've to say how proud am I that MCR isn't all bout punk and emos, and this is by far their greatest piece ever. Alright, maybe not really that much, but there's alot of changes and improvements which you'll notice in their latest installation.
One thing is,their lyrics makes more sense than their late album, Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge. Its no longer about spirits, ghost or ethereal lovers watsover. Its more deep, in terms of emotion and well, the whole concept of the album itself which is the black parade. Every piece of song carries a significant story of a particular life of a man who's going through a spell of his own and his days numbered, which is of course death. You gotta follow through the songs and you'll get what I mean. Other than that, I must say Gerard's singing has been wonderful. He no longer screams(which he always does) and he made a good effort in putting lotsa emotions in each of the songs. Especially songs like "I don't love you" and "cancer". You can almost feel for the character in these songs. But the greatest thing they had in this new album, is the fact that both of the guitarist has finally discovered their own solos. Each of em unique and quite surprisingly, blends perfectly with good drummings( Bob is good considering he was a replacement) and bass rhythms.
All in all its a perfect setting for a perfect band that has it all perfectly in a very perfect album which is The Black Parade. I'm particular impressed and you gotta listen to em yourself. I personally think MCR has done a wonderful job even if critics say they're past their best. Well fuck those people and all those no good anti-bands or watsoever coz you guys don't deserve to critic artists who just wanna create songs for the pleasure of you guys coz they work their fucking shit out just so that you guys can experience a whole new piece of song called music and stop comparing those from your eras even though their fucking awesome but people change and so does music too. So start getting that in your head or be like a frog in a well and keeps listening to the same old same old song all over again!

So I'm down with a flu, eventually skipping the whole of Thursday's labs and tutorial. Damn, I must say my body has been frequently weak this past few days. Maybe becoz I'm not getting enough rest while practising tons and tons of guitaring at home. Or could be becoz my body 's immune system's probably deteriorating due to the lack of vitamins or something. Haha, whatever it is, I'm just getting old. Maybe. =S
Been resting the whole of today at home, my back's still aching of all that weight carrying my guitar for sessions. Damn, I would love to have a good massage on it. Had a great night though with the renegades and Firebrands on Tuesday night. Crazy as hell, the excitement just come and go like a roller-coaster ride. Its like, suddenly you go all high, next thing you knew its drop dead silence again. And the food, was damn nice. Thank the guys for the treat, it was really thoughtful of them man.
Trying to get back to sleep but my mind's bothered about something. I've been listening to My Chemical Romance's I don't love you song a couple of times becoz of this fucking mood. Yeah, but after all it was my own wrong doing and I don't wish to speak about it here in my blog. Personal man, not trying to be cryptic here all right. So school tmr and I'm just looking forward for a good day tmr. =D

Before I went jamming with the guys(and a girl) I borrowed JP's Ibanez RG170 electric guitar for my own personal use coz apparently, he has a spare gibson guitar on hand and prefers to practise more on his bass guitar. It was really nice of him to lend it to me coz I've been wanting to own a guitar of Ibanez's calibre someday, even though my dream guitar would still be a Gibson Les Paul. So I had a few go at it and I can honestly say that its quite impressive for a cheap starter pack guitar.
Usually for a player who goes for metal songs, which includes the likes of Metallica, Iron Maiden, Trivium or Slipknot, the choices of guitars vary from Dean dimebags, BC Riches, ESPs, Samicks and Washburns, Ibanez are always sub-standard due to the fact that they have the "best bass guitars" label. Well, at a certain point its true but I believe Ibanez electric guitars should'nt be labelled out too coz they just sound fucking well like all the rest of the electric guitars. They sound even better with good distortion pedals and wicked amps. And trust me, they can easily own any kind of metal songs out there.
Anyway, what made me fall in love with this baby is the fact that the neck is narrower than my custom made Santa Fe guitar. So manoeuvring your fingers while doing countless sweeping and arpeggios isn't a hassle. And the fretboard carries a wicked 24 frets! Thus, a better range of scales to produce even better solos at certain times. Alright, moving on, the body is amazingly light and even a small-built guy can actually hold it while playing. Unlike gibson guitars, which weigh's double the weight of this guitar. Slim body, and the strings are built in a way where tremolo picking is trouble-free. But the most and ultimate thing about this baby is the pickup. Lovely sound, produces a a very strong metal sound. And add that to my Ibanez DS7 distortion pedal, it just sound even fucking better! Durable and its body is tempered in a way where it will gloss for a lifetime. A very good guitar to begin with for players who loves playing metal or anyone who's having a start-up in a world of electric guitars. =D
Problem now is that my amp is killing off that distorted or overdrive sounds. Its plain bullshit and I'm saving up to get a either an Ibanez or a marshall amp. Oh and I'd love to get a Boss Metalcore pedal soon it'll sound fucking nice on this guitar I bet you. For now, I've change my preference and my choices of guitars vary from epiphones and ESPs. The epiphones= Les Paul version looks way fucking cooler than their original brother's Gibson. Not to mention they sound even better than em' at a more cheaper price rate. So yeah, I was thinking of owning an epiphone Les Paul guitar someday. =)

Hello hello people I'm back after a long long break from blogging. Its kinda awkward I know, to have suddenly stop updating and publish a new entry out of almost a few weeks of "no updates". So I bring you a current update of what really happen a few week's back(if I could remember lah...). So went jamming yesterday, unfortunately I spent all of my hari raya spending. Played a few songs, first jamming session with a new drummer. Yeah, she's fucking cool lah. Has her own signature trait, wears a cap when she drums. Is that fucking cool or what?
Anyway, after which went to eat kfc after sessions. Couldn't get my usual original coz it was sold out. Damn. And Karim quit his job at KFC funan IT mall. Yeah, so couldn't see him which I always did every time I end my sessions. So I got Zinger instead, yeah.
Darren brought us to this wonderful place call CA at Marina Square. Its call Changing Appetites. Alright people listen up this place is one of the few favourite places to hang out in. Seriously. They got cushions for you to hug with, comfy seats to slouch and a really nice ambience. The staffs are well, friendly and sweet-looking. Alright, and most importantly its DARREN'S UNCLE who's running this business. That's why its one of a kind, ok people. Anyway, we got ourself brownies and yeah, as was as expected, simply delicious. Exquisite. Got ourselves a good time and yeah, great day to end with...
EXCEPT the part where Liverpool lost to Arsenal 3-0. Fucking hell.

So I'm down with a virus that had me gone for two days of school(supposedly three lah coz the other one was considered e5 outing) but anyway, I hope lah huh I'm well enough to catch the Firebrand's album launch at MOS tmr . HOPEFULLY lah huh, I get my camera cable by today. AND HOPEFULLY lah huh, I'm able to style my hair coz I can't stand the "trims" of my hair anymore. IF lah huh I got the money, heh.
Woohoo, I'm high now coz late night soccer is here again and yeah, for tmr can wear any "bottoms" lah huh for the renegades. Yeah, that means bikini bottom also can lah huh. Whee!
