So ya we were having a conversation about bus drivers who would get fined by the government if they're late for a bus schedule. As in, for their stops and all that lah. They gotta be on the dot there, or something like that. Uh huh, so as the story goes...

erm, that was an earlier piece of conversation. So ya, anyway we got pawned by some fucking gay players in DotA. Anyway, there were possibilties that bus drivers tend to be later than their given time schedule becoz of reasons like:
1) Traffic jams
2) suicide(weird, who would wanna commit suicide on the road? Oklah, suicide places can be anywhere lah, toilet also can...=X )
3) old woman crossing the road
4) gung ho new driver/motorist (a driver who lost all care and concern to people around him and only thinks of himself as the owner of the road. Inconsiderate bastards)
5) lady driver/motorist(coz they tend to get hesitant)
6) ah pek motorist(those riding the old school bikes with side passenger. They're fucking slow and take up so much space on the traffic.)
7) NBCB ah bengs and ah sengs who think their road belongs to their ah gong(arrogant bastards)
We kinda, made out a scenario out of it. This drivers need this work badly you know. And they'll do anything what the government says or implements. You know they say desperate people goes for desperate measures. Take this for example:

Learning album covers are the best way to self-practise guitars. Electric guitars, to be precise. Ok to specify the exact album, you should try listening to Trivium-Ascendency. And no, I'm not trying to be bias by promoting my favourite band, thats only half of the reason, but each of their song has different kind of riffs and strummings which I daresay is a challenge. I've not gone to the solo parts yet, I'm still at intros and verses part. But its good training I suppose, considering I'm always at home since I'm on a fast and I've plenty to do at home other than reading and watching tv.
So usually I'll start slow, practising accuracy and precision coz its way more important than playing with speed. The fact that the fastest my strumming could go is around 184, which is like early presto(in metronome reading) but consistency wise its not accurate just yet. But ya, like always practise makes perfect. For now, I'm just strumming on a slower metronome than the original. But my slowest is around moderato (metronome reading again!) to allegro that kind. So ya, thats all I can say. Progress! =D
Damn, and you know what metronome in presto's speed is like erm, lovers fucking. Hehe, if you know what I mean. ;)

Prawn fishing's even harder than finding a girl friend.
I'm not sounding all desperate here, but its true. Me and Luie took a freaking 2 hours at Lakeside garden tonight before we got our first catch of the day. Ok lah, at least we manage to catch 4 for 3 hours. Maybe my beginner's luck wasn't there or it probably was a bad day for the both of us. Whatever it is, I still manage to win Luie even though it was a tie for 2, but I caught the biggest so size matters! =P
In the end, we free the poor little prawnies back to where they belong coz we don't feel like cooking them for supper. =D

So before the start of a month of hibernation next week, Saiful, Rachel and I decided to eat the glorious food the world could offer at pizza hut! And apparently, Rachel was feeling all cheesy and we got ourselves cheesy pizza. And not to mention Garlic bread and chicken drumlets. OH WHEE!! =D
And we even left darren a slice of pizza. Ahaha, not.
In the end, we were'nt able to finish the pizza, I forced myself to eating the remaining pieces, Saiful had his skinned(coz the cheese was killing him) and Rachel eventually gave up. Oh well, we were damn satiated. Totally. The cheesies made us full. =S

Goodness, sinful eating means more calories to burn! Gotta start gyming and jogging soon. Hibernation's next week and most probably this will be the last of all the good food that I'm having lately. =S

Everyone's checked their module results and my e-service password has once again, create problems that's probably fucked the password yet again. To be honest, I think NYP has the most fucked up server ever. Not to mention, the reset password option is plain bullshit, its fucking unuser-friendly. I've been patient too long, and I guess reseting passwords had always been an unfortunate thing for me. Its not the first time, mind you.
But now that my mind's cooled off a bit, I guess it can't be help either and watever it is I can still access it sooner, or later. Just pray that somehow rather, that I can finally logged into my e-service by tomorrow. Urgh.

So I've been slacking at home, doing things I would actually not have accomplished when its still semester one. Practised my guitars, going as well as I could have ever wished for. Picking it up for like 2 months ago, and I suppose the hard work's been paid off lah. I used to think playing The dagger was super killer, but now its merely a breeze. I'm trying to find new ways to improve myself, like playing all sorts of genres, from rock and roll, to blues, to my favourite metal and even nu metal. Ok, maybe not so much. But I'm playing what I would love the most and thats metal. So I've been playing songs the likes of Trivium, Metallica, Iron Maiden and even Roadrunner United's songs. Wicked. Then there's Oasis and RHCP, where chords are pretty much concerned to other alternative rock or nu metals like Breaking Benjamin, Evanescene, System of a down and Slipknot. Its really nice when my strumming doesn't go astray, even though my current guitar doesn't have pick ups that sounds so melancholic, but it gives me that kind of pleasure you would normally see from a typical guitar player. That feeling of being one with the guitar. Guitars are like your second vocals. An instrument that projects a certain note, a tune, a rhythm or even melody that states your passion and energy in the means of music. Ok, so I've dropped the idea of owning a Gibson Les Paul guitar for now, which cost probably like a fucking 4 k dollars. And I meant SG dollars, mind you. But my bro's carbon copy of Stratocaster-look-a-like Santa Fe guitar is very much like my second pet lah. Not to mention my own acoustic guitar. But the strings are getting a lil rusty and it's about time it needs refurbishment.
So presumably I believe in that concept Steve Vai mentioned, "once you start playing the guitar, you can never stop playing it." How true is that.

As you already know, Lukas Rossi is the new Rockstar Supernova vocalist. I think he deserved to be in the band becoz obviously, he is the perfect vocalist for them.
He gave me a good impression ever since he performed that song Creep by Radiohead. It was an encore and probably one of his best performances by far. And he gave me a whole new meaning to the beauty of rock on roll. All the best for his career and I suppose it's never the end for the subsequent rockstars who made it far and went into the finals. Rock on guys and thank you Rockstar: Supernova! \m/
Oh ya, my bro Rui Qi has fly over to Europe for two weeks and I'm sorely gonna miss him. Badly. =(

Ok so I've changed my blogskin to the old one. Even if it seems that the previous template looks somewhat nicer(as in colour and theme and all that shit...)
Anyway, I've not been updating. Screwed my computer, I think. Now it doesn't have firewalls and anti-virus software and somehow rather its been hanging most of time. So now I got the opportunity to update maybe coz it's in a good mood today. Crap.
So there was jamming on Tuesday. Then the Firebrand's jamming session. Other than that, the start of the Champions League. And Lukas's the Rockstar Supernova Vocalist. Cool. Obviously I'm not in the mood to type an interesting entry, so I'm just writing a summary of this week's event out of total boredom.

Gotta need some rest lah, been so busy this past few days my body's feeling the fatigue.

So I've been busy with life(apparently...) and that can explain why I've not been updating. Went out to City Hall with Rachel, Saiful, JP and Darren on Sunday. Well, supposedly we had jamming session with my brother(currently named feed these girls lah) and we had Firebrand with us to watch us jam. I felt so fucked up lah, due to the fact that my "mentors" were there in the room. And I must say, I felt like a total idiot. Had some blunders, one of which I got static from the damn mic itself. Sheesh. But it was fun lah. Totally. I think it was better than the previous session, even though JP came on a lil later(becoz he was feeling so sleepy) and ya, he wasn't feeling so well. Creep was a show-stopper! Wanted to play Chasing cars but the rest were not keen becoz it sounded so fucking cheesy. Okay lah huh, overall we had a great session! =D
After which went to eat KFC at Sim Lim, bought a family meal which was freaking good( apparently Karim was working and he gave us two extra original chicken, and another cup of drink) and we had a great time crapping our way while having dinner. Walked around suntec for like an hour(Darren and JP left after dinner) and finally home sweet home.
Oh well, I'm gonna be freaking busy. Outings, BBQ parties. I'm really looking forward to this week! =)
And I terribly miss my Jurong West Buddies. =(
