Ok, more random post!

Just to let you guys know, I'm totally 100% absolutely straight! This is just a funny cam shot just to kill some bloody time while we(me and Rui Qi) were waiting for Tze Wei's dragon boat training session to end. Credits to Auntie Rin for the pictures...

So, while I was flipping through dunnoe which month's Sports Illustrated Magazine pages. I came across, LARRY BIRD!

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

MY GOD THE HUMANITY!!!

I did'nt even realise that shorts during those days were even much shorter!(But now that I've seen and believe that shorter shorts do exist...) They're like, the mini skirts for guys! =S

And it was one heck of a turn on! Seriously, Larry Bird, in short shorts?! And it's almost at the brink of his...I dunnoe, BRINK?!

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

Larry Bird's an icon for short shorts. I think they should classifiy classic basketball pants under the men's "shorts" section or something. That'll be totally cool, and now guys can prove to girls that they're not the only one wearing miniskirts. Guys can too! As in, maybe just below that BRINK... =P

I had a random conversation with my dad while we were having tea yesterday. And he was telling me how urgent Singapore's music industry is in terms of young composer. Nowadays, the number of young composers are depleting and ya, it might aggravate local singers. As in ONLY singing. And so, he told me that there's no point having Singapore Idol when local talents can ONLY sing but can't really songwrite or create their own lyrics. Since composers are in dire hit of creating more songs for this bunch of assholes who only wants their fame for ONLY singing but can't really do any shit of writing their own songs.

And that brings us to Rockstar: Supernova. Its way better than any Idol shows, singing competition etc. Showcasing talented musicians who can not only sing, but also write their own lyrics and even songwrite. Which I must say, a giant leap from that "ONLY sing" criteria that we Singaporeans failed to see and open up. So, thumbs up for Rockstar: Supernova, a big thumbs down to Singapore Idol.

Yet again, Singaporeans are just plain typical. I'm not saying its totally wrong but if you're really into the music industry than there's more to just singing. Coz if you can't really compose your own songs don't expect to survive the industry for a very long time. And in case you've ever noticed, the fans in Singapore simply love "fastfood". They tend to get bored on artist and fell in love with new ones so easily. =P

So my dad questioned my reliability of becoming a musician(if I've the opportunity) one day. And if I were to say that I've nothing to worry about and that it would be a major success, it would be a very tall order. There's so much for me to learn, I'm not even up there yet. =(

But in such a case I end up failing, there's always the contingency plans:
1) Set up a roti prata business with Darren. And one day it might end up getting alot of recommendations from not only newspapers, but magazines and novels too. AHAHA.
2)Carry out my late uncle's legacy by running a food stall. Maybe, Mahkota Cafe?!
3)Be a counsellor since I love relating to others.
4) OR, set up an adoption pet shop since I love pets!

Whatever it is, I've decided my future even when I've not serve my NS just yet. Which is a good thing lah since I'll know what I really wanna do when I've entered the business world. Anyway, how come I'm not even doing any multimedia related jobs when I'm currently studying it?!

Tokyo Drift Rocks lah! WABAKI!!!

I was typing an entry when Yu Qi's computer went kaboom out of a sudden! So now I don't really have the mood to retype the whole entry. Again.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

But anyway, I designed a nice logo for Joanne and Yu Qi's web portal project! Its way cool huh? I like it becoz its my work. Its a stigma lah for people to actually be biased on their own work even though some might thing its downright "ok lah...". So don't think you've never felt good of your own work, becoz you do feel that you've achieve some sort of "recognition" or watever that has gotta do with feel good inc. But simplicity certainly suites me. =D

Edited due to viewer's discretion...

You've gone totally awry ever since I left you. And now that I'm over you, the news that came right from your very own friend's lips just disgust me. Ya, you've changed. But for the worst. So what if you've started getting "conservative" after the death of a good friend's brother, when your heart's one big mess. I once asked you to take care of her while she's in school with a broken heart, but you replied like it was a definite annoyance. That her other friends love her more than you do.

If I've a reason to not see you anymore, this is it. You came from being someone I use to love to someone I now loathe. And if you've thought that your life's been so much happier, to be honest I think its crappy now but you just would'nt wanna admit it. Bull crap.

Forgive me for all the profanities, but I just have to say it to clear this out of my head. Wake up lah, woman. No point "respecting" yourself if you don't even have your own friend's respect.

This is week is officially the month of...

DOOM

Read that? And no, its NOT becoz the hungry ghost festival is just around corner. There are something else thats much more sinister to the festival itself. Its when your lecturers are hungry for your projects, and you have no choice but to burn yourself up for the sake of finishing the assignments right on schedule. Goodness, its like a living hell now. Totally.

If you've ever considered achieving enlightenment, then go through "this" and "that"(Exams). You'll surely gain peace and tranquility once you're over and done with those two.

YA RIGHT?! AHAHA...

Session was a total disasterpiece.

But to be honest, I think it went pretty much ok. Probably coz my bro is still new to Darren and Saiful, so we had'nt been in free flow just yet. It has always been a disaster each time you have your very first session with new bandmates. Though we manage to play Like Light to the Flies for our first song! =D

After which, both Darren and Saiful left, accompanied Rachel and Firdaus to watch Hairul's band performance at Orchard organised by Tapestry. Some donation drive for unfortunate children. Chilled at Starbucks later on, and finally home sweet home.

Back to more studying. Com skills 2 Common Test this coming Wednesday. But before that, gotta learn IT programming lab re-test which is this coming Monday. And thats like, tomorrow! =S

Ok, so I've been skipping plenty of classes this week. All for the sake of IT programming project. So Wednesday spent the whole day at Arthur's with Yu Qi and Darren just to have a kick start on my project. Though, I've not even done with the masterpage. Yesterday, I was in school for a couple of hours, though I did'nt attend any classes. Was freaking jaded man. I think it was Wednesday's project work that had me drained. Totally.

Today, I had an option of helping out in Phat nite 2, or come down for the event(coz I was granted free admin pass), but now I don't wish to either. Coz my friends can't go(apparently they did'nt registered earlier and they had'nt have a ticket since its already sold out)so there's no motive of me going there too. Anyway, its really not my thing, and there's a reason to be there with my friends. They should know lah. Haha.

Call me a betrayer or an impressionist, whatever u call it. But after today's season buying I'm starting to fall in love with Real Madrid again. =)

I use to fear their defence more than admiring their strength in quality stars. They boast the likes of Zidane, Figo, Beckham, Ronaldo and Raul. But the problem in Real was the fact that the players were too big-headed they often had dressing room conflicts. And the tendency to switch coaches when their season did'nt go pretty well. However, after the recent presedential election I guess the squad and staffs are pretty much stable now.

I do hope the signing of Cannavaro and Emerson has confirmed an agreement. I could imagine an impregnable defence of the new Real Madrid under the coaching helm of Fabio Capello. I'm hoping they sign more quality star players, coz I believe this season's gonna be a REAL one.

Los Merengues my hearts on you!!

I'm skipping class for two consecutive days. Which is today and the day after today(which is tomorrow). Gotta finish up my remaining few projects, but today will be my unofficial break. Gonna watch Pirates of the Caribbean later with Luie and Rui qi(and hopefully with the rest of the gang).

Anyway, both Luie and me has been doing some role playing recently. We'll be the PIRATES OF THE COFFEEBEAN, in search of the long lost Dead Men's Armpit. Ewww. So I'll be Jack Daniel's(Aka Captain Prata) and Luie will be First mate Rojak. AYE AYE! And my fellow Cockatoo that goes Cock-A-Doodle-Do but not Caw. And so, we'll set sail and endure hard sea battles till there's...CHIPS AHOY!!!

Liana says I look so much like her cousin. And so she treated me like one of her own punch bag(coz apparently she too treated her cousin like one). But I think her only motive is becoz she just wanna lay her hand on me. The hard way.

The problem is I can't retaliate nor recoil. It'll be a terrible felony, to hit a lady(ehem...). Talk about psychological bullies, they're one nasty and smart beings. Its so rare to even find one nowadays. Sheesh.

So yesterday things did'nt go to plan. BUT the upside is I did what I said I would do for yesterday. Heh.

1)Went jamming with my ex-bandmates(the four of us, excluding my bro)
2)Went to see Liana perform at the Youth Park. It was really a competition. Re-mix 2006.
3)Went to Bay Beats with Rachel later and meet up my frinky friend Faz and Kor-Pan guy Hairul. AHAHA.

Session was freaking fun man. It was also the first time playing the guitars with them. Though, coordination wise I'm still too weak in that. Coz Sahu was playing rhythms too, and obviously I'm still not up to my bro's standard. He's calibre is way above mine. Sheesh. But the good thing was I still sounded ok vocally even though its been a long time since I've ever practise my vocals. Chapter four was wicked! I really love playing that song. Totally.

Went to Youth Park with Fawze and Rozi(with her friend) after sessions. To catch RE:MIX 2006 dance competition and watch Liana perform. So I met old friends, plenty of them from my secondary school. There's Taufiq and Kamisah. After which, Rachel joined us and we DID saw Liana perform. She's hot man! But me and Rach stayed to watch only for the dance intros though. Headed to Esplanade later on to catch Bay Beats instead. Its really not our stuff lah...

So finally we're at Marina for Bay Beats 2006! AGAIN!!! Downside was the band line-up's fucking boring. There were'nt any of them who could do any nice shredders or wicked solos. They're just, hyped. But really not one of my type. Though, our Malaysian counterparts(which were also, part of the audience) enjoyed themselves and sing to the tune of every song the band plays. Which is kinda supportive lah, whereas I don't really listen to this kind of songs so why should I even memorise their lyrics right?!

Feeling so shagged. I'm booked for today too, so I gotta finish up my presentation for tomorrow's Com Skills 2 project. Going out at 4 pm to meet Luie and her friend. After that, Bay Beats AGAIN! FINAL DAY TODAY!!

Ps: To my bandmates, I hope you guys don't play Helena again. Coz seriously from the start I really can't sing that song lah. You know what I mean. Heh.

Damn, I learnt the wrong songs. Left out some of em'. Most of them I've already jammed and sang but oh well, I think I'll just have follow up for the other songs then. Heh.

So today, gonna go jamming with my ex-bandmates,without my bro. He's gonna be so mad if he finds out I'm going jamming with them. Rachel and Fawze's gonna watch me jam! I'm not sure whether Saiful's gonna be there too. Anyway, we'll then head to the youth park after my session to catch Liana performing. As in, watch her dance. But I'm not sure if its a competition, or just a performance. After which we'll go down to the Esplanade to catch Bay Beats 2006 again! But today there isn't any nice bands to watch. Unlike last night, there's West Grand Boulevard and Nothing To Declare. They fucking rock man! Daphne Khoo looks drop dead gorgeous, damn you Rachel. You got her number and you've talk to her mum before.Sheesh.

And ya, I can't find my canon cybershot. I wanna take lotsa pics today. I think its lost. =(

Had fun while I was at the Esplanade. With my fellow OGL-mates. All the bands were fantastic. Totally!

Now, I've to revise my tabs for tomorrow's jamming session with my ex-bandmates. Damn. I've asked Rachel to go and watch me and my ex-band perform(in the jamming room) since she has been helping me with the signing of attendance. =)

Maybe becoz most of my OGL-mates and friends are involved in the VoiceOut event. So, the class got a lil bit smaller and ya, I'm bored. As hell.

Want you to know that...I miss you. I MISS YOU SO!

It feels weird when the World Cup season's already over. You felt like it was just yesterday that the tournament had eventually ended. You kinda miss all the late night matches and the excitement of watching your favourite teams played their hearts out for this one prestigious trophy. And those friendly competitions you and your good friends would create, each supporting their favourite countries. Respectively. When you jumped for joy each time your team scores, or even if he or she wins a bet. Or you could even get pissed or cried when your favourite team gets booted out or did'nt make it to the finals, or subsequently you lost your bet.

All those jeering. All those cheering. And the hugs and kisses, the feeling of being overjoyed each time a goal is scored, missed or fouls committed. You feel like there's never an end to all these excitement. But unfortunately it does, and you have to accept reality as it is...=(

You have done well to reach this far. To the finals of the World Cup. Beating the likes of Spain and Brazil too. Even if it was Zizou's final "exit" in the final tournament, you have shown that French Football is still a force to be reckon with. Likewise, we have seen the rise in potential stars, and proved to the rest of the World that players at their prime still have the gears to go that extra mile.

Whatever it is...

I DID have a plan today. Finished most of my assignments at home, my bro gave me guitar lessons and had me playing malmsteen's rhythms. He wants me to play rhythm for that part during our coming sessions, and I'm like fuck. Its too hard for my calibre. Its beyond God-like man. Totally. Practise makes perfect though. =)

I'm at my cousin's place rite now coz I've decided to catch the coming match Germany vs Portugal on 3 am tonight, here. Had a great time while I was left "stranded" at Kallang. Apparently my aunt and my other cousin was at the Kallang Stadium to catch the NDP rehearsal. My little cousin's in it! Teehee, she's in the choir. So I played with the neighbourhood cats, read the New Paper at a nearby park and round the entire area of Kallang Bahru. Haha.

Here's something for you guys. Don't think that I'm always rock ok, I can also be pop at times.

So I finally got the pics.Woohoo! Thanks Luie!!

Anyway, today I don't know what to do. There's so many things I could possibly do BUT, I can't decide a proper plan...

I feel like watching a movie today, anyone will do. My bro Rui Qi is'nt answering my call and I'm getting more and more lethargic.

I feel like completing my projects by today. Though, most of my group members are busy with the upcoming SIT event, VoiceOut. So, I've to do it all alone, for now. Finish my part and just send it to Fawze.

I feel like going to my cousin's today. But I don't know what's the purpose of going there too. Since tomorrow I need to visit a close friend of mine to see how's she doing. I hope she's feeling a lil better man, after her brother's death. =(

So now, I'm out of options. I did'nt know Saturday could be one complicated day. Well, I'll just have to stay at home and hope something might appear out of the blue. Something.

Where is the love man?!

Yesterday was almost stoning day for me. I stoned at everything I could stone at. Even on Joanne's lunch. Rude eh? Sheesh.

BUT, after school my mood got into full-swing again. Went to Bishan's Junction 8 with luie to get her chocolates. Had my haircut. Then headed to Bugis to meet up luie's friends. Ate at Pastamania(creamy chicken!), after which we went window shopping. Me and luie crapped a lot along the way coz we were both just freaking lethargic. Her friend was promoting some event she's organising. She's really good at promoting, mind you. After that we chilled at moss burger, and I bought bandung at this food festival! I can't remember what's the name of the festival, but it's gotta do with the World Cup season though. There's lotsa of food there. Plenty.

Got home and I went straight to bed. AND LUIE DID'NT SEND ME THE PICS WE TOOK AT BUGIS LAST NIGHT?! Whatever it is, I enjoyed my day last night. =)

So, what did I get for my birthday this year?!

I got 40 bucks from both my aunt and grandma. She told me to use it for spending today, but end up I did'nt. =)

My dad bought me a portable keyboard, which was imported from Malaysia. What I've always wanted.

My brother bought me an acoustic guitar which cost him around 90 dollars. Now I don't have to share a guitar with him anymore. Hehe.

Got not only one, but two cd album covers from Yu Qi, Darren and Arthur! I'm so stupified man, you guys freaking rock lah. I really love it, though at first I was kinda reluctant coz it looks kinda expensive. Sorry if I ever doubted u guys man. =(

In addition, they even got me a winning bet(coz France won last night) and I won 20 dollars. Now I'm so in love with you guys. Totally. Though I don't have the ticket with me now coz I've asked my bro Rui Qi to hold it for me the ticket. I was afraid my parents might saw it in my wallet. Accidently.

And last but not least, the greatest presents I've ever receive was from everyone who had wished me a Happy Birthday today! Which includes my mum, my grandma and even my friends. It was totally awesome, I was so happy I nearly cried. For joy that is. Heh.

And I thank God for making this day a truly special day for me to remember, for the rest of my life.

Where is the love?!

I was too tired to get to school today, and my friend was smsing me whether I was going for graphics design and maths tutorial. But that did'nt matter now, coz its already 2 pm in the afternoon. Fuck.

Anyway, the Germans were totally decapitated by a determined Italy. 2-0. And It was close to the end of extra-time. It was definitely heartwrenching, either way I'm used to it. Coz every team I supported seems to be jinxed. They end up losing. Look at Spain, Brazil and Argentina too. They were kicked out, unexpectedly. And I was supporting them all along. So let's say, if I'm rooting for France tonight, they'll be defeated by Portugal. And it'll be Italy vs Portugal. Well fuck them, I want France to kick Portugal's ass. They're great pretenders and cheats.

I think I've fallen in love with Breaking Benjamin, they fucking rock man. And their new album, Phobia, will be released this coming August the 8th. I'm so gonna get their new album lah, even though I've set a couple of Albums on my Wanted List:

1) Chimaira- Impossibility of Reason
2)Faktion- To Make A Dent
3)Stone Sour- Come What(Ever) May
4)Breaking Benjamin- Phobia

Oh well, it will take probably a long time to get them. =(

I'm going to my aunt's today, coz I really missed my cousins and my grandma. Ahaha. I would love to spend my day with them before my birthday. Which is tomorrow. I don't think they'll ever realised that tomorrow's my birthday too. Whatever it is, the thing that I always do during my birthday was spending time with my loved ones. And that includes my family and friends.

Zizou's so gonna orchestrate the French attack, and if you're talking about The Phenomena, he's the one.

I'm totally drained. Ok, alot of things happened, good news and bad ones too, and I was taking my IT programming lab test today when the news came around. So ya, I felt kinda uneasy, about the incident. It reminds me when...

I'm practising on my new guitar, and I must say its ten times better than the old one. I have to thank my bro for his gift, he bought it for a wooping 90 dollars! I'm seriously gonna find something to buy for his birthday man, which is in a month's time.

When I'm feeling better I'll blog something more. I'm feeling so shagged, too lazy to type a long entry. School's tiring.

Shoot. So much for feeling so happy. Now I had to finish up my com skills 2 projects, and web portal too. Either way, I'll just stay up late again coz I just had a two cans of redbull and I'm feeling kinda hyper. I need to be in school early in morning and night class tmr till 8 pm.

Ok, think of the positives. I'm legally 18 soon, and I can finally get my driving license. I got my own personal keyboard, a guitar and I should be happy that my parents are as fine as ever. Together. I should be excited that the World Cup final is drawing closer, and that Germany are strong contenders for this year's World Cup. But what's with this feeling that's bugging me now?! I'm missing something, surely...

Darn, don't tell me I left my belt at my cousin's again?!

Man, I can honestly say that today was one of the greatest day of my life. I finally got a portable keyboard I so badly wants. And it was bought just days before my birthday, to think that my family went to Malaysia to my relative's they actually brought home a portable keyboard with them back to Singapore. I was in tears man, now I can start practising keyboard AND guitar. It makes me even happier that my parents are on level terms too, they've stop quarrelling and my mum starts being lovey-dovey on my dad again. Heh.

So I've taken a break from blogging, and I must say I had a wonderful weekend. Went to Eza's place for a night of bbq, pool, basketball and lotsa of food to eat! We even watched the quarter-final, Germany vs Argentina. It was a tight contest, 90 minutes of pure adrenaline, extra time and finally penalties! In the end, the Argentinians lost and yes, I was in totally devastated. Whereas Yu Qi and Joanne had the last laugh. Sheesh.

Moving on, England and Brazil were kicked out. And I must say this World Cup is a European face-off. All the remaining teams are those that were'nt really hot favourites(except the Germans) but still they made it this far. Good for them. Ok, so now I'm currently supporting France becoz they impressed me. Two wins against under-achievers Spain and Almighty Brazil is no big joke man. They mean business. Totally.

I'm gonna take a shower now and start practising on my keyboard. Even though some of the keys are spoilt but I'm still happy that I finally got my own personal keyboard. Now, I'm still considering whether I'll be asking my dad for an acoustic guitar coz this is already enough for me. Heh.
