Man, Youth Gone Wild Rocks. Well not at all, the only band performance that really stood out was well, Ronin themselves. I mean, they're the only local band that has that standard lah. Or watever you call it. But I guess the subsequent bands are pretty much ok. There's Daphne koo in a band called West Grand Boulevard, but to be honest I don't really think that rock-star image doesn't fit her, at all. Like totally. There's even a friend of mine who works at fourtones and his band's the winner for the recent School Of Rock competition. He's fucking cool ah. Heh. But some are fucking posers, others a 4-piece "uncle's" band(Youth Gone Wild, mind you...) while the rest are plain boring. I don't see any fucking shredders, or crazy solos, neither any bands that have their own unique covers or genres. They're just an "ok" band lah, nothing much. Seriously.
Well, after the gig me, Rachel and Yit Jing went to stay overnight at Toa Payoh's Macdonalds to watch soccer. The rest went back home. And yes, my friend Yit Jing betted on the match, and he was buying a swiss win. I must say, lady luck was on his side. Swiss came out winners 2-0. He just won 30 dollars at that very night man. Sheesh.
I'm still awake even though its already 9.30 am in the morning. Transfering my pics in photobucket so that you guys could see last night's event. Weird thing is, I don't feel sleepy at all. As in now. Sheesh. Maybe it's gotta do with last night's gig, I suppose...I'm still feeling high...
